DAILY DEVOTION

PRAYING FOR OUR LEADERS AND EVERYONE

Devotion-9.webp

February 27, 2023

God’s heart is that all men might be saved and have a knowledge of who Jesus is. After all, when Jesus left the earth after His bodily resurrection, He commissioned not only the disciples but all believers, “to be His witnesses telling people about Him everywhere…” God wants all men to be saved.

We shouldn’t stop PRAYING FOR ALL PEOPLE, KINGS AND ALL THOSE WHO ARE IN AUTHORITY. So that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life, godly and dignified in every way as a result we can share the GOOD NEWS FREELY.

So great is God’s love for humanity that Jesus gave up His own life “to purchase freedom” for us. All of us were separated from God by sin until we surrendered our lives to Christ. He became the Mediator between God and us, so we no longer were separated from God but reconciled to Him.

Praying should be part of our daily routines; Praying for people. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior.

Dear God, bestow on our heart the attitude to always pray for our leaders for those who are in authority and everyone so we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified, so we can share the good news freely. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Have a blessed day, be safe and healthy.

God bless us all.

1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.
